About this event

This two-day workshop will provide a range of highly engaging, interactive, and informative sessions and networking opportunities that aim to drive conversation and practical steps towards the theme: Water security in a changing world.

After the challenges, disruption and delays of 2020 and 2021, we are looking forward to providing our partners with a time to get together, network, share experiences, and learn what's new in AWP and in our broader development and foreign policy context.

Feedback has consistently told us that in-person networking is highly valued and this remains the main focus of this workshop in 2022. However, we will be using Zoom to also stream most sessions online (more detail on this option in early 2022).

Registrations will initially be limited to two people per organisation (a cap of 90 in-person attendees, which may be increased if restrictions ease closer to the date). We encourage you to consider gender balance / GEDSI and young water professionals (~35 years and under) when determining who from your organisation will attend.

There are two training options (capped at 20 people each) available on 8 March prior to the workshop. If capacity is reached, we will offer places based on the number of participants per organisation, a preference for new partners, and those who have not attended before.
